Description

This Chick Fil A Kale Salad Recipe is a copycat of the fast-food favorite — crunchy, tangy, and surprisingly healthy. Made with kale, cabbage, and almonds tossed in a bright Dijon vinaigrette, it’s a quick side or meal prep staple .


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups chopped curly kale, stems removed
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1/3 cup roasted salted almonds

For the vinaigrette:

 

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Massage the chopped kale with a splash of olive oil or salt until softened.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the massaged kale and shredded cabbage.
  3. Whisk together all vinaigrette ingredients until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the kale and cabbage. Toss well to combine.
  5. Sprinkle roasted almonds on top.
  6. Let sit 10 minutes for flavors to blend, then serve or chill.
